Kristen Stewart Didn't Want to Be 'Fake': Actress' Own Words Before Cheating On Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders
Kristen Stewart told Entertainment Weekly that she didn't want to be a "fake" girl, days before she cheated on Robert Pattinson.
In an interview at the Comic-Con 2012 Convention in San Diego, Stewart sat with her co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, for an interview about their upcoming movie "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2."
She spoke with the magazine about wanting to have an authentic image with the public.
"I've never been able to fully form this thing, this persona, that some people are so f-ing good at. That's an art. I know a lot of actors [who can do that] and you guys aren't them," she said, gesturing to her co-stars, the magazine reported Wednesday.
"Did you just point to us?" Pattinson asked, according to EW.
"Yeah, and thank God! I don't like people like that," Stewart said. "People who are a complete non-person but somehow through the lens seem like they are on and interesting and engaged. I care way more about the people standing in the room. I don't want anyone leaving and saying, 'God, that girl is so fake.' People tell me to make it easier on myself and to play a character when I go out on carpets and stuff. But you know what? I'd rather be me."
Stewart and Rupert Sanders, the director of "Snow White and the Huntsman" had an affair on July 17.
In June's issue of Elle Magazine, Stewart revealed that she wanted something "crazy" to happen to her.
"I feel boring," Stewart said. "I feel like, 'Why is everything so easy for me? 'I can't wait for something crazy to f--king happen to me. Just, life, I want someone to f--k me over@ Do you know what I mean?" she said.
After the affair was uncovered by pictures published on Us Weekly, Stewart publicly apologized to Pattinson confirming for the first time that they were a couple.
Both have reportedly left the Los Angeles home they shared together.
