Marvel is currently casting for Netflix's Jessica Jones.

The series is looking at four women for the titular role, according to Deadline. Among these are Alexander Daddario (White Collar), Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad), Teresa Palmer (Kill Me Three Times), and Jessica De Gouw (Arrow).

Marvel is considering the actresses for a 13-episode Netflix run following the release of the Daredevil series.

Jones, who originally gained her powers from a deadly run in with radioactive chemicals, won't be in the mood to done her suit when the series begins. Suffering from PTSD, Deadline reports that the heroine will instead open a detective agency that caters to her super powered brethren.

"Right now, the writers' rooms are open and they're looking at casting Jessica," Netflix chef content officer Ted Sarandos updated fans back in August, according to Empire (via Screen Rant). "If you sense some hesitation in my voice, that's classic Marvel fashion. They like to keep that veil of secrecy."
