'True Detective' Season 2 Spoilers: HBO Drama Gets Full Cast, 4 More Actors Announced Including 'The Wire' & 'True Blood' Alum [VIDEO]
HBO's True Detective scored four more players this week, rounding out the final cast just as production is set to begin for season two.

On Wednesday Deadline made two casting statements, the first of which announced that actress Adria Arjona has landed the role of Emily, girlfriend to one of the show's leading police officers (played by Taylor Kitsch). Arjona is having a strong year for television. On Nov. 11 the actress joined the cast of an upcoming TNT crime pilot produced by Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer.
The second bit of casting news came later in the evening when Michael Hyatt (The Wire) and Tara Martinez (Alpha House) came on board. Hyatt will play a motivated states attorney, while Martinez will be a Mexican-American woman running an inn.
'True Blood' Alum Joins The Cast Of 'True Detective'
On Tuesday Deadline had revealed that True Blood's Riley Smith had also joined the popular crime drama, making him the second True Blood star to land a role on the series. Smith will be taking on the role of Steve Mercier, a Sheriff's deputy and boyfriend to the leading female detective.
True Detective's second season will be helmed by Colin Farrell (Minority Report, Saving Mr. Banks), Taylor Kitsch (Wolverine, Lone Survivor) and Vince Vaughn (Into the Wild, Wedding Crashers) as two police officers and criminal, respectively. Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls, A Most Wanted Man) is generally accepted by most publications as the drama's female lead, though this report has not formally been confirmed by the network.
True Detective returns to HBO for a second season mid-2015.
