'Love And Hip Hop Atlanta' Season 3: Stevie J Reveals Shocking Reason Benzino Was Fired, 'He Said He Was Going To Kill Us' [VIDEO]
It looks like the real reason Benzino was fired from VH1's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta has been revealed and it is safe to say that it's shocking.
Benzino Reveals If He & Stevie J Will Ever Make Up, Talks Spinoff
Benzino's former friend and costar Stevie J told TMZ that Benzino refused to move forward after the cast got into an epic brawl while taping the reunion special earlier this year.
Stevie J claimed that Benzino was on a brutal rampage and threatened to kill him, his wife Joseline Hernandez and even the crew of the show including producers.
Benzino Says K. Michelle 'Made Up Story About Being Beat Up', Disses Her 'Lackluster' Career
"He said flat out he was going to kill us," Stevie J told the site.
VH1 apparently could not take the heat with Benzino so they decided to just let him go.
Still, Benzino also spilled his side of the story with the entertainment news site.
"Stevie J is a habitual liar and VH1 has never given me a reason for being fired. They wanted to keep the crackhead wh*re."
Benzino recently spoke out about getting the axe in his magazine Hip Hop Weekly. He called out V.S.O.P. singer K. Michelle, who formerly starred on the show and said that he was too boring to stay.
"We broke ratings records without K Michelle! Mona manages her so of course I expected to hear K Michelle speak on their behalf. In my opinion it's unprofessional to be the leader of a company and take sides and show favoritism, when it clearly was the whole cast, not just one person, that has made 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' so successful."
