Cast and crew have been sharing their appreciation on Twitter all week, from series writer Tony Tost's thanks for the show's "second life" to Longmire book author Craig Johnson's words of wisdom.

Last week Warner Horizon and Netflix signed a deal which will bring Longmire a ten-episode fourth season on Netflix, which is a good fit given that the subscription service already has the rights to air the program's existing episodes.
With production beginning in March, Longmire likely will return for its fourth season on Netflix during the second half of 2015.
