Eminem debuted his cinematic video for "Guts Over Fear" the same day his label dropped its compilation album, Shady VX.

The clips tell the story of an aspiring boxer from Michigan who can’t make ends meet with his job as a dishwasher. He fights with his pregnant significant other over money as he also deals with an alcoholic father. Despite his obstacles, the athlete comes out a champion in the end.

"This is for every kid who all’s they ever did was dreamed of one day just getting accepted. I represent him or her, anyone similar, you are the reason that I made this song," Eminem raps on the track. "And everything you're scared to say don't be afraid to say no more. From this day forward, just let them a-holes talk. Take it with a grain of salt."

Although the song features Sia, she doesn’t appear in the video. Instead, a woman with vitiligo lip-synchs her lines.

The motivational song appears on Shady Records' double-disc album, which celebrates the label's 15th year anniversary.
