Fox TV Schedule: 2015 Premiere Dates Including 'American Idol,' 'Glee,' 'The Following' & Late Return of 'Bones' [VIDEO]
The Fox network has released their extensive primetime schedule for early 2015, including premieres for Glee and American Idol and timeslot changes for other shows.
'Glee' Moving To Fridays For Final Season, Tells Fans To 'Deal With It'
Sundays on Fox will continue as it is currently, with The Simpsons at 8 p.m., Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 8:30 p.m., Family Guy at 9 p.m. and Bob's Burgers at 9:30 p.m. This lineup, which includes Mulaney at 7:30 p.m., will continue until March 1.
On March 1, Bob's Burgers moves back to 7:30 p.m. while the premiere of the new show Last Man on Earth airs 9 p.m. The new end of the world comedy then moves to its regular 9:30 p.m. on March 8.
'Gotham' Showrunner Talks Inclusion Of Robin, Harley Quinn & More In Future Episodes & Seasons
Starting on Monday, Jan. 5, the Fox schedule continues with Gotham at 8 p.m. and Sleepy Hollow at 9 p.m.
On March 2, The Following will be premiering its third season in a two-hour timeslot from 8-10 p.m. It will then move to 9 p.m. the following week, with Gotham taking up the 8 p.m. hour.
As for Tuesdays, beginning on Jan. 6, MasterChef Junior continues on 8 p.m. as well as New Girl at 9 p.m. and The Mindy Project at 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 3 is the premiere of Hell's Kitchen at 8 p.m., taking the place of MasterChef Junior. The lineup continues until March 31, when the new comedy Weird Loners premieres at 9:30 p.m., replacing The Mindy Project.
Wednesday, Jan. 7 is the premiere of the 14th season of American Idol at 8 p.m. This will be immediately followed by the new music industry drama Empire at 9 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 8 features another episode of American Idol at 8 p.m., taking up both hours of Fox primetime. This continues until Jan. 22, when the new Rainn Wilson comedy-drama Backstrom premieres at 9 p.m.
Then, Bones returns with new episodes of Season 10 on Thursday, March 26 at 8 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 9 in the premiere of the final season of Glee, airing as a special two-hour event starting at 8 p.m. It will then move to 9 p.m. starting on 9 p.m. The series finale of Glee airs 8-10 p.m. on March 20.
