'Dancing With the Stars' Season 19 Cast: Alfonso Ribeiro Set To Take Home Mirrorball Trophy? [POLL, VIDEO]
ABC's Dancing With the Stars eliminated another couple Monday night, leaving only three pairs left to compete for the Mirrorball Trophy in Tuesday night's finale - who will win the grand prize?
'DWTS' Contestant Janel Parrish On Why This Week Was 'Rough,' With 'Barely Any Time To Rehearse'
Bethany Mota and Derek Hough were eliminated Monday night, making it the first time Hough has been eliminated with his celebrity partner before the finale since season 14 with Maria Menounos.
This left only three couples still competing in season 19: Alfonso Ribeiro and partner Witney Carson, Janel Parrish and partner Val Chmerkovskiy and Sadie Robertson and partner Mark Ballas.
If the overall leaderboard matches up with America's votes, it looks like Ribeiro and Carson might be looking at a win during Tuesday night's finale. However, judges' scores don't always match up with America's taste and the nation may appreciate Robertson's growth or Parrish's technical skill more than Ribeiro.
Ribeiro emerged as a frontrunner from Week 1 of the competition, earning raves from the judges all the way through to Monday. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor busted out the Carlton in Week 4 and has used his likability and entertaining dancing style to wow both the judges and America. He and Carson have an average score of 36.7, putting them at the top of the leaderboard.
Parrish is right on Ribeiro's tail and might have what it takes to beat him. The actress and Chmerkovskiy have an average of 36.3 and even though they technically received the worst score of all couples remaining in the competition Monday night, she still has a sizable fanbase. Plus, there is still a lot of love for the Chmerkovskiy brothers which could help push them over the top.
Robertson could also take home the Mirrorball Trophy, particularly with the rabid Duck Dynasty fanbase behind her. She hasn't always been the best dancer in the competition but she has shown great improvements week to week and her positive personality is clearly having an effect on voters. She and Ballas have an average score of 35.3 and could very well sneak past Ribeiro and Parrish to nab that trophy.
At this point it could be any one of the three couples, which is sure to make for an exciting finale.
Dancing With the Stars airs its finale Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
