The Jodi Arias retrial is still ongoing and Tuesday prosecution finally wrapped up their cross-examination on the defense's expert witness, L.C. Miccio-Fonseca.

Jodi Arias Has Hired A Private Investigator To Start Appeal Process

USA Today reported Wednesday via The Arizona Republic that Tuesday in the courtroom was just a continuation of what has been ongoing since Miccio-Fonseca's cross-examination began days ago.

Prosecutor Juan Martinez continued his attempts to discredit Miccio-Fonseca's testimony by keeping with his steady implications and accusations.

Rounding Up The Happenings Of The Jodi Arias Retrial So Far

Miccio-Fonseca was brought in to examine the sexual relationship between Arias and Travis Alexander, which brought up numerous things such as Alexander's struggle with who he was and how he emotionally abused Arias.

Miccio-Fonseca made the state that Arias had suffered in silence due to the toxic relationship she was in with Alexander. She also stated that Alexander had "closeted" Arias, which led to hiding her from his friends and family.

Throughout the cross-examination, Martinez kept bringing up through evidence that Arias was never one to bottle up her feelings.

Martinez mentioned a hiking trip between the couple that they were going on with a mutual friend named Daniel Freeman, which led to a fight between Arias and Alexander since Freeman emptied Arias' backpack of beauty supplies.

Martinez also brought up a time when Arias showed up at Alexander's home unannounced and therefore caught him kissing another woman as she peeked through the window. He mentioned Arias going through Alexander's phone too without his consent.

He stated, "So she had no permission to go in there. That's a pretty assertive act to go into somebody's cellphone when they are asleep. It's not suffering in silence."

Martinez also brought up parts of Miccio-Fonseca's previous testimony that lack objectivity. She claimed some messages between Arias and Alexander were a "five-hour rant," but in actuality the conversation only lasted about two hours.

Martinez was doing everything possible to discredit Miccio-Fonseca in court yesterday.

The retrial will resume on Dec. 2.

Outside of the courtroom, Arias' parents have taken to YouTube to thank those who have donated to fund their daughter's legal team and have asked for further donations. The video can be seen below.
