The newly 22-year-old Wrecking Ball singer posted various photos on Instagram Thursday, showing her enjoying Thanksgiving, but also working on new music.
In her big reflective Instagram post she said, "how did I get chosen to be the one with this life? feeling f---ing thankful & it's not the season. it's going to sleep in silence nothing but these baby angels and a book after a long loud day filled with making what I love. alone time but I'm not alone! I'll take a soul over a voice box forever".

Thanksgiving may bring many to feel extra thankful, but Cyrus does not see the holiday as her reason why she is so "f---ing thankful". She's thankful for the way her life simply is.
Cyrus prior to the reflective post shared an image of herself with a keyboard and said, "freaky s--- goin down". See the photo below.
Cyrus also shared a couple of family pictures from her Thanksgiving feast; one of herself with her older sister Brandi and another of her mom, dad and brother Braison. These photos were accompanied with many heart emojis to show Cyrus' love and happiness toward her family.
She ended her "purrrrfect turkey day" in bed with a cup of tea as seen below in the photo she posted to Instagram.
