Despite contract negotiations ahead, one of the stars of Fox's Bones is interested in continuing with the show if it gets picked up for season 11.

Emily Deschanel, who plays Brennan on Bones, spoke with TVLine recently about whether or not she would want to return for season 11.

"I'm up for it, yeah," she said. "I feel like there's still more to tell."

However, it isn't as easy as that. There are still a number of things that still have to happen in order for Deschanel to return.

"The network has to pick it up, for one," she said, laughing. "And people have [expiring] contracts. But under certain circumstances, I would definitely consider [returning]."

Bones show runner Stephen Nathan was also on hand to reveal that there are still more places Brennan and company can go.

"We don't feel that the show lacks life or the characters lack places to go," he said. Ultimately it depends on what Fox wants to do, but Nathan revealed that "all seem to be telling us to keep going."

Bones is one of few shows that have lasted for 10 seasons. At this point, Fox has a few problems in its scheduling that it still needs to take care of, but Bones has maintained itself with a loyal following through the years. It will likely be renewed for an 11th season by Fox, though stranger things have happened.

Bones airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
