It's almost time for the Ice Ball on Pretty Little Liars, but Rosewood's resident Liars don't want to attend.
Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), and Emily (Shay Mitchell) would like to stay as far away from the DiLaurentis family as possible, but they foursome is also desperate to uncover any clue that could dismiss Spencer's murder charge. In order to get what they need, the Liars will have to head into the lion's den during "How the 'A' Stole Christmas."
"Pretty much with this episode, it revolves around an Ice Ball. The DiLaurentis' are throwing this Ice Ball," Hale explained in a featurette. "At first, obviously, the four PLLs are a little hesitant to go, but they need to go to distract Ali in order to get this information that Mona is holding for them. Mona has this clue that could ultimately get Spencer off the hook from going to jail, so they get dressed up in their nicest dresses and go to the Ice Ball."

Mona is, of course, dead, but it seems the teen will have left a few clues behind for the Liars. Whether or not they can uncover the truth before Ali (Sasha Pieterse), well, that remains to be seen.
