June Steenkamp is candidly speaking about the entire situation with her daughter and Oscar Pistorius Sunday night in an interview on Carte Blanche.
On Friday, Channel24 announced that Steenkamp will break her silence in a Carte Blanche interview with Devi Sankaree Govender this Sunday. Sankaree Govender is an award-winning investigative journalist who covered Pistorius' trial "as one of the anchors on MultiChoice's Oscar Pistorius Trial TV channel on DStv."
Channel24 revealed that acquiring the interview with Steenkamp "took Carte Blanche two weeks to iron out the details, with the cameras, which rolled this past Tuesday at the Steenkamp home in Port Elizabeth."
June Steenkamp Thinks Oscar Pistorius Only Saw Her Daughter Reeva As 'Arm Candy'
Sankaree Govender told Channel24 "it felt surreal" to interview Steenkamp.
In the interview, Steenkamp revealed, "I feel angry for what he's done to her" when talking about her deceased daughter Reeva.
The site also reported that in Sankaree Govender's interview with Steenkamp, they'll touch on Steenkamp's financial troubles and how it made her feel to unnerve Pistorius, among other things.
The entire interview cannot be broadcast, but it will be made available on the MultiChoice's DStv Catch Up service.
There is no knowledge on if Americans will be able to view this interview in its entirety, but American journalist Aphrodite Jones is trying to bring the "full story" to the United States. A brief video of her talking to EWN's Sheldon Morais is below.
