Johnny Manziel Girlfriend Colleen Crowley: NFL Rookie’s Lover Shows Pride Over His First Professional Touchdown, ‘Too Hype’ [VIDEO]
The Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel is well on his way to getting to start since he made his first professional touchdown during Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
'Johnny Football' Manziel Becoming 'Johnny Wrestling'?
Sunday, Manziel was brought into the game against the Bills with roughly 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Brian Hoyer, the starting quarterback, was taken out of the game after a couple of interceptions.
Manziel scored his first professional touchdown during the 8-minute mark of the fourth quarter, which delighted fans of the rookie especially his girlfriend and biggest cheerleader, Colleen Crowley. It was a 10-yard rushing touchdown, which can be seen in a video clip below.
Johnny Manziel's Girlfriend Is His Biggest Cheerleader
Crowley took to Twitter to show her support for her boyfriend's big professional break. She started off her excitement with a tweet of two emojis; a heart-eyed one and the raised high-fiving hands.
Up next, Crowley tweeted that she was "too hype," which can be seen below.
She ended her tweet spree celebrating her boyfriend by retweeting the Cleveland Browns' tweet about Manziel, which is below. Manziel has been properly welcomed to the NFL now that he's scored a touchdown.
The Browns may have lost the game 26-10, but this play in particular showed Manziel could lead the team since Hoyer has been having such a difficult time over the last few weeks. Crowley may finally get to see her "bae" start in the next game if his performance during this last game holds any heavy weight with Coach Mike Pettine.
Pettine told reporters after the game that the coaching staff "will look at the tape and make a decision," about whether to start Manziel in the next game or not as reported by NFL's website.
Manziel is ready to rise to the occasion if he gets to start. In a press conference after the game he told reporters, "If that is the case and my name is called, then I'll definitely be ready," as reported by ESPN.
