According to Fortune Magazine last Monday, Frankel says that in order for women to catch up in the business world, they need to not only be like men, but surpass them in the rat race as well. The reality star herself has made a fortune thanks to her SkinnyGirl brand.
She said, "Just be better than men. Women are so caught up worrying about all the opportunities the men have, what they're getting paid and what they're doing. Why are we so focused on looking to the left and to the right? Be in your own lane."
What's more, Frankel said that women shouldn't be afraid to take risks and to be "fearless" when it comes to asking for financial advice, since no question is ever "too stupid."
She added, "You may get derailed and you may run out of gas and need to regroup, but you're moving forward. Talk to people, make mistakes, but just keep going. You're in your own lane."
