ABC has released a plot synopsis for the next episode of Once Upon a Time and by the looks of it, it's not going to be pretty.

'Once Upon a Time's Emma Remains 'Determined' To Earn Regina's Trust Back Again

The Snow Queen's (Elizabeth Mitchell) Spell of Shattered Sight is now in full effect and as previewed by ABC in the new plot synopsis, "chaos" is spreading.

"Storybrooke is in a state of chaos with all the residents under the Snow Queen's Spell of Shattered Sight at each other's throats," the plot synopsis for episode 10, titled Shattered Sight, reads.

This episode is set to have Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Elsa (Georgina Haig) teaming up as the only people not affected by it.

"Emma and Elsa race against the clock to free themselves of the ribbons and take down the Snow Queen and her curse," the synopsis continues. "David [Josh Dallas] can only watch when Regina [Lana Parrilla] clashes with Mary Margaret [Ginnifer Goodwin] in an epic battle."

As usual, Rumple/Gold (Robert Carlyle) has other intentions with this new curse.

"Gold gathers Belle [Emilie de Ravin] and Henry [Jared Gilmore] as he prepares to leave town forever, and Will Scarlet [Michael Socha] looks to square his tab with Hook [Colin O'Donoghue.]"

Obviously this looks to be a busy episode, but there will still be time for a flashback storyline to Arendelle of the past, per the plot synopsis.

"Kristoff's [Scott Michael Foster] thick-headedness leads Anna [Elizabeth Lail] to a heartwarming discovery," the synopsis concludes.

This episode is set to air on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
