'Doctor Who' Spoilers Christmas Special: Santa, Dream Crabs, Sleepers; Whose The Real Villain In 'The Last Christmas'? [VIDEO]
Doctor Who's Santa Claus may be getting coal for Christmas.
Played by Nick Frost, Father Christmas will drop by for a reality warping Doctor Who Christmas Special, and the actor is keeping fans in the dark as to St. Nick's true plans.
"I wanted to make him slightly edgy and cross at times and a bit like a gangster," Frost told TV & Satellite Week Magazine (via Doctor Who TV). "I want viewers to be kept in the dark as to his intentions, so you don't know if he's good or if he's evil."
'Doctor Who' Spoilers: What Will Clara Do Post-Doctor? Jenna Coleman Teases Oswald's Future
It remains to be seen if the jolly toymaker and his eight reindeer are even real at all. The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) will have a smidgen of trouble separating their dreams from reality during "The Last Christmas."
This confusion will be due to the North Pole's latest monster infestation. The new villains are called the Sleepers and the Dream Crabs, according to TV & Satellite Week Magazine, and it is easy to see how they could tangle up one's perceptions of concrete reality and a person's unconscious fantasies (or nightmares).
