On Tuesday, TV By The Numbers updated its numbers on The CW shows that have a chance of getting canceled or renewed. While Reign is still at a tossup between a cancellation and a renewal, it's numbers have apparently gotten worse. And the site does not seem to have a lot of hope that it will pick up.
In fact, the web page's headline is ''Reign' Ratings Go Even Lower, How Can It Not Get Canceled?'

The show's number on the Renew/Cancel Index is at .53, which is the lowest of the other CW shows. But the site hasn't made an official prediction on a cancellation because there are four other TV shows that are set to premiere this season and they might do just as badly as Reign, or even worse than that.
As of now, it looks like the royal drama will only be picked up for a third season if more people start watching it or if less people watch the other shows that come along.
If Reign does not come back for new episodes at the end of the season, then some other shows might go along with it. According to the site, the others shows that could either stay or go are Jane the Virgin and The 100.
As for the shows that reportedly have the highest chances of being renewed, fans can probably have hope for The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Arrow and The Flash.
