'NCIS: LA' Season 6 Spoilers: What's Deeks & Kensi's Next Move? Eric Christian Olsen & Daniela Talk Densi's Future [VIDEO]
NCIS: Los Angeles' Kensi and Deeks are moving ever closer changing their status from "It's Complicated" to "In a Relationship," but the series' writers aren't quite ready to give the pairing that official stamp.
As far as fans know, the LAPD detective and the NCIS agent are stuck in a little bit of relationship limbo. Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) may wake up on the couch together, but that seems to be the extent of the pair's extracurricular activities.
"I think that the writers are actually being very smart about it because they're hinting at certain things, for example, that Deeks is sleeping over at Kensi's house, but if you were to find them in bed it would be almost too clear of a message of what's going on," Ruah explained to CBS Chicago. "So this is a sort of halfway point where they can either push it to a friendship thing or push it to a relationship thing."
Hetty's (Linda Hunt) agents will discuss their holiday plans in the series' Dec. 15 Christmas episode, and perhaps Deeks and Kensi will further their romantic storyline by choosing to spend the yuletide together.
