Crash & The Shooting Incident On 'Finding Carter'
As for what's going to happen in the second season, that's pretty much a mystery. The last thing that happened was Carter getting kidnapped by her pretend mother again. This leaves plenty of mystery on what lies ahead for the teenager and if her kidnapper will get caught.
In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Terry Minski mentioned that she knew right away what she wanted to happen in the cliffhanger.
"When MTV called me and said, 'We're going to pick up the first season, but you need to have a great cliffhanger,' I was like, 'I know what it is!'" Minsky said. "We were always headed for that abduction, but the question was how."
The producer then pointed out how Lori and Elizabeth made a change on the viewers even though they, themselves, did not change.
"I don't think Lori changed, but we got to finally see the Lori that was capable of kidnapping a child," Minsky said. "I feel both of their personalities are, fundamentally, the same as they were in the beginning."
