'Suicide Squad' Casting: DC Film Snags Jared Leto, Will Smith & More; Who Landed Which Villain?
The rumors can stop swirling; DC's Suicide Squad is finally cast.

The villains are coming out of the woodwork, and so are some big name actors. Set to release in 2016, Suicide Squad will employ Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club), Will Smith (Winter's Tale), Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises), Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street), Jai Courtney (Unbroken), and Cara Delevinge (Anna Karenina), according to Variety.
As previously thought, Thirty Seconds to Mars' Leto will take on the role of the Joker. Meanwhile, Smith will portray Deadshot, Hardy will jump back into the comic book world as Rick Flagg, Robbie will play Harley Quinn, Courtney will take on the role of Boomerang, and Delevingne will be Enchantress.

Suicide Squad is expected to begin preproduction work in February, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Directed by David Ayer (Fury), the film will take up residence at Pinewood Studios in Toronto and will film from April until September.
