The Voice eliminated three contestants in the wake of the Top 8 performances.

'The Mentalist' Season 7 Spoilers: Finale To Be Tragic? Bruno Heller Teases 'Hope' At End Of Series

Team Gwen Stefani's Ryan Sill was sent packing along with Team Pharrell William's last two contestants, Luke Wade and DaNica Shirey.

Instead of knocking out only two performers per round, The Voice expanded the Bottom Three to the Bottom Four in order to whittle the contestants down to the Top 5. In order to make it to the next round, hopefuls could either be saved by the public's vote, the Instant Save, or have their votes multiplied by landing Monday's single on the iTunes Top 10 and earning the iTunes bonus.

Neither Sill, Shirey, nor Wade was each able to take advantage of these boosters. Trapped in the Bottom Four with Team Adam Levine's Chris Jamison, the trio vied for the Instant Save, but their performances of Eta James' I'd Rather Go Blind, Ben E. King's Stand by Me and Bryan Adam's Heaven fell short when compared to Jamison's rendition of Ray Charles' Georgia on My Mind.

Team Gwen's Taylor John Williams earned the iTunes bonus for his version of Lorde's Royals, as did Team Adam's Matt McAndrew and Damien for their performances of Damien Rice's the Blowers Daughter and Adele's Someone Like You, respectfully.

Watch Wade, Sill, and Shirey's Monday night performances below.

Find out what's next for the Top 5 when The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
