Slade aka Deathstroke, played by Manu Bennett will be returning in an upcoming episode of season 3 of Arrow, according to a new report.

Showrunner Dishes On Another Arrow/Flash Crossover In Season 3

MTV News revealed that last season's man villain will be dropping by for episode 14. The report sepculated if this would mean that Slade makes good on his promise to Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) that he would break free from the A.R.G.U.S supermax prison.

Recently, executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg dished about the villains that are set to feature in the upcoming Arrow and Flash crossover episode.

Speaking to TVLine, Guggenheim revealed that they had been very careful about choosing the bad guys that were to feature in the highly-anticipated episode. One of the villains will be the Rainbow Raider, who will be played by guest star Paul Anthony.

"What I liked is we picked villains that reflect the tone and sensibility of both shows and then used those villains to put our heroes through their paces," Guggenheim said.

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg quipped about the name of the villain adding that it was "actually one of the worst names of a comic book villain ever."

Getting into more details about the villain, Kreisberg joked about how they came up with the name, "Usually, Cisco coins the names for the bad guys, and this episode, it's actually Caitlin, because somebody who's not quite so nerd-cool would come up with a silly name like that."

Coming to the nature of his villainy, the producer added that the Raider will cause great friction between the two heroes of the episode, Arrow and the Flash. This will culminate in an intense showdown.

The other villain will be Boomerang, who will be portrayed by Spartacus's Nick Tarabay, and is essentially The Flash's nemesis.

"It makes a lot of sense because he's not a metahuman character even though he fights The Flash," Guggenheim said. "Having one of the Flash's only non-metahuman villains appear on Arrow first, it's pretty cool."

The crossover episode will air on December 2 and 3.
