'Insurgent' Movie News: Full-Length Trailer Could Be Coming Attached To Either 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Or 'Mortdecai' During 2015 [VIDEO]
Even though fans have got their first look at what is to come in the next entry in the Divergent series, they still haven't seen a full-length trailer, which could be coming at some point early next year.
How Much Will We See Theo James In 'Insurgent?'
While the first trailer gave fans of the series a taste of what they could expect from Tris, there is still that desire to see more from what the next film will have to offer and the whole cast rather than just the star. As we look at the schedule for 2015, two specific dates stand out as possibilities to house the next trailer.
The first date is Jan. 23 as it is the opening day for Liosngate's Mortdecai. This seems highly likely that a trailer will premiere here as it is Lionsgate's biggest opening before Insurgent comes out, and it could bring in a decent crowd due to the big cast that includes Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow.
'Divergent' Series To Bring Back Ellie Goulding For 'Insurgent' Soundtrack?
That date is the most likely spot for the next Insurgent trailer and will probably feature the first full-length one that dives into the action and story more than the teaser did.
Another possibility is Feb. 13, which is also the opening day for Fifty Shades of Grey. The film is expected to be one of the more anticipated titles in the early stages of the year and Liosngate may look at the opening weekend as a perfect opportunity to show off more footage from Insurgent to a crowd that may be into that book as well.
While the first teaser is already there, it seems likely that the next two will be featured on these two days and in front of these movies.
Insurgent comes out on March 20, 2015.
