'Fifty Shades of Grey' 2014: Why Dakota Johnson's Mom Melanie Griffith Won't Be Seeing Her In Scandalous Movie [VIDEO]
Fans around the world are anxiously waiting for the most anticipated film of the year to hit theaters on Feb. 13th of next year, and for most fans, the day couldn't come any faster.
The new film Fifty Shades of Grey has captured the attention of millions, and people can't wait to get their hands on movie tickets, well most people.
On Tuesday night, Melanie Griffith was spotted outside of a restaurant in Los Angeles, and when asked if she would be watching the new Fifty Shades film, she responded no.
Griffith, the mother of lead actress Dakota Johnson, told photographers that she wouldn't be watching the new film for a couple of reasons.
In a video obtained by TMZ, Griffith says she won't be watching the film because her daughter doesn't want her to see the movie and because it may be a little inappropriate.
Granted there could be some pretty racy scenes in the film, but heartthrob Jamie Dornan (Mr. Grey) has already confirmed that there would be no full frontal nudity so Griffith may not have much to worry about.
For some fans, the film should be called 'Fifty Shades of Sadness,' because viewers were eager to watch Mr. Grey take it all off, but that's definitely not a gift they will be receiving this holiday season.
This new film has become a global phenomenon and it's no secret that the movie will break the big screens during its opening on Feb. 13, 2015.
