'Teen Mom 2' Season 6 News: Critics Recall Jenelle Evans' Substance Abuse Struggle As Nathan Griffith Declares Drugs Make You 'Stupid' [VIDEO]
Jenelle Evans, known for MTV's Teen Mom 2, has a well known history of drug related issues. Over the last few years, however, she has managed to sober up and return to school so that she may better her own life and the lives of her two children.
'Teen Mom 2' Star Loses 'Calm' Fighting With Her Mother
While Evans doesn't specifically talk much about her substance abuse these days, her boyfriend Nathan Griffith had a few thoughts on the matter when he posted a statement about drugs on Twitter Thursday.
On Drugs:1. doesn't mean the whole world is out to get you! 2. Drugs make you think you're smarter than everyone but you're actually stupid!

Griffith did not direct the message at anyone in particular, though many of his followers immediately tied the claim to Evans. For years drug and alcohol abuse kept Evans from reclaiming custody of her five-year-old son Jace, who continues to live with her mother Barbara. Evans has admitted many times on Twitter that she's made mistakes in the past, but hopes to improve upon herself moving forward.

Evans and Griffith recently moved to a new home together in North Carolina, where they live with five-month-old son, Kaiser.
Teen Mom 2 returns on MTV for a sixth season in 2015.
