'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Danielle Campbell Dishes On Davina & Kol's Chemistry, Plus How Midseason Finale Is 'Packed' With Drama [VIDEO]
There is over a thousand year age difference between Davina (Danielle Campbell) and Kol (Daniel Sharman) on The Originals, but according to The CW stars that hasn't stopped the two from getting romantic.
Klaus & Jackson To Face Off On 'The Originals' This Season
"I think age is kind of… it depends on your relationship," noted Campbell in an interview with Access Hollywood on Thursday. "Age can kind of play in how you choose it to, so I think for Davina, I mean, Marcel is like a hundred years old. She's used to being surrounded by all the old folks, I think she's used to it. I don't think it's a factor for her."
Campbell has had a ball playing opposite Sharman this season. "We're so lucky to have him," she insisted. "Honestly, working with Daniel has been so much fun for me and such a great learning experience for me to. He's one of the most brilliant actors I've ever met and I've been so lucky."

Sharman stepped in this season to play a witch by the name of Kaleb, who really turned out to be the resurrected Kol Mikaelson, brother to Davina's enemy Klaus (Joseph Morgan). While Davina has spent much of the season trying to get revenge on Klaus for the pain he caused her in season 1, her relationship with Kol has been very different.
"Even when they bicker, I think they're fantastic," noted Campbell. "It's playful and no matter how much she gets annoyed with him, it's still great to watch him kind of flirty with her and I think she enjoys it as well."
With the midseason finale fast approaching, Campbell also admitted that there will be a lot of "drama" packed into one episode.
"It's like the holiday episode, so, to me, it's a really special one and there's a lot going on," she teased. "It's very hectic and [there is] lots of drama, lots of action. It's a pretty packed episode."
The Originals continues on The CW with its second season Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
