Fifth Harmony took a huge leap in their career Thursday when they got to meet the President and the First Family all while performing at the National Christmas Tree Lighting.

Thursday, Normani Kordei Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui got to perform in President's Park at the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony alongside Nico & Vinz, Rita Wilson and many others.
The girl group was super excited for this opportunity especially since they're such big fans of the Obamas. Michelle Obama is referenced in their song BO$$ after all.

Hamilton couldn't contain her excitement on Dec. 3, leading up to yesterday's meeting and performance. She tweeted in all capitals, "OBAMA . PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES . IM GONNA MEET HIM TOMORROW," along with the double high-five hands emoji and more words about how it's such an honor to meet him.
She also tweeted just how excited she was as seen below.
The girls shared a photo from their soundcheck earlier on in the day, in which Patti Labelle joined them.
Then they lost their cool once they came in contact with the Obamas.
Hansen gushed over Michelle knowing her purse is heavy in their song BO$$. In a video posted to Fifth Harmony's Instagram, she excitedly retells the tale of walking up to Michelle and talking to her about BO$$. Michelle even sang the song to the girl group.
Hamilton has a bit of a freak out too. In another video, which is below, Hamilton states that Michelle shared she works out to BO$$.
Cabello got super emotional on Instagram as she shared a screen grab of herself hugging President Obama with a long caption detailing her arrival in America from Cuba and how now she's meeting the President of the United States.
Hernandez also shared her overwhelming feelings on social media. On Twitter she said, "MICHELLE OBAMA BLASTS BOSS ALL THE TIME". Plus she admitted to crying from the day's events.
Jauregui said it was an "AMAZING day with such amazzing people!!"
