Beanie Sigel Shot: Rapper Was 'Unintended Victim' & Left In Critical Condition [PHOTO]
Rapper Beanie Sigel was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after being shot Friday afternoon in South Jersey, according to news reports.

The shooting occurred outside of his home around 9:30 a.m. in Pleasantville, N.J. According to NBC, the rapper had just dropped his children off at school and he was an “unintended victim" in the crime.
"All I can confirm at this time is that Mr. Dwight Grant was shot this morning after an altercation on Spruce Avenue," Pleasantville police Chief Jose Ruiz said.

He added, "From the first appearance, it would appear that there was some sort of altercation next to that property.”
Sigel, whose real name is Dwight Grant, suffered a bullet wound that went straight through his abdomen. The 40-year-old was rushed to the AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center.
Another victim was also injured but the 22-year-old wasn’t shot.

The incident comes four months after the rapper was released from jail after serving two years on charges of federal tax evasion. Sigel is on probation until Saturday and was wearing a monitoring bracelet when he was shot.
