Fans of State of Affairs may finally get an answer to the series' main question: Who has been texting Charleston?

Entertainment Weekly reported on Friday that Charleston (finally) comes closer to uncovering the identity of her mystery texter in the next episode, narrowing down the suspect to someone on her team. She's have other things to deal with, though, when someone uncovers "damning information" in the report on the convoy attach that cost Aaron the ultimate sacrifice--his life.

As the threatening anonymous messages worry Charlie, the next text includes a photo. Fashion & Style reports that the text features a picture of a gun in the text. Charlie shows the text to Nick and he reveals that the same exact photo was sent to his cell phone.

Nick allegedly claims to have a lead but refuse to reveal it to Charlie, wanting to play it out first on his own. Charlie then begins to wonder if they're being stalked or blackmailed.

According to the synopsis, this episode, entitled "Bang, Bang," is said to have a flash back to Charlie's first interaction with Fatah on Midnight City. Meanwhile, President Payton's rival Senator Green reveals just enough about the upcoming senatorial convoy attack report to cause her to question Charlie's faithfulness.

Also in the next episode, the team employs Jack Dawkins, played by guest star Derek Ray, to contain a smallpox contamination in Panama while avoiding detection in the country.

This episode will feature guest stars Nestor Carbonell, Courtney B. Vance and James Remar.

The next episode of State of Affairs airs Monday, Dec. 8, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
