The Fosters Christmas special is almost here with a new sneak peek released on the chemistry that Brandon and Callie share.
'The Fosters' Actors Tease The Christmas Special, Find Out What They Had To Say
On Friday, Maia Mitchell made an appearance on KTLA 5 where she dished on the Brandon-Callie relationship and how things are going to blossom as the second season continues.
"They're basically Foster siblings that have fallen in love," Mitchell said. "And so it's about them kind of trying to reestablish a different relationship and more of a sibling relationship."

A sneak peek of the Christmas special was then exposed where the two go with Jude to shop for presents at a store. Brandon only has so much money to spend where he looks at some jewelry and asks Callie what she likes. She picks up a bracelet that costs $100, which Brandon shrugs off. Callie continues to have a genuine look on her face while Jude overhears where it seems like he has his own input on that situation.
In a recent interview with TV Line, Mitchell pointed out that no matter what happens between her character and Brandon, "they're always going to be important to each other."
"Whether they're dating, whether that's a romantic connection or just a mutual respect, they're always going to have that," she added.
The Fosters Christmas special airs on Monday, December 8 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
