Following the Top 8 eliminations, Team Adam Levine still has three contestants, but Team Gwen Stefani and Team Blake Shelton only have one each. Team Pharrell Williams is currently out of the running, but Tuesday night’s Wildcard round will give one of the eliminated Top 12 a chance to fight their way back.

As the NBC series heads into the finals, each contestant has the chance to advance by either by the public's vote, the Instant Save, or by gaining extra voter points by landing their latest song on the iTunes top 10. Each of the Top 5 attempted to earn these bonuses while performing two songs – one selected by their coach and one picked by the viewers.

For Team Adam, Damien opened the evening with his rendition of Tom Bahler’s She’s Out of My Life (Coach’s Choice) before moving on to Paula Cole’s I Don’t Want To Wait (Viewers’ Choice). Meanwhile, Levine selected Make it Rain and Maroon 5’s Sugar for Matt McAndrew and Chris Jamison, respectfully. McAndrew then performed U2’s I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For while Jamison tried his hand at Bruno Mars’ When I Was Your Man.

Meanwhile, Shelton assigned Craig Wayne Boyd Workin’ Man Blues, a country tune (no surprises there) by Merle Haggard. To satisfy the viewers’ choice section, Boyd gave his rendition of Old Rugged Cross.

For Team Gwen Stefani, Taylor John Williams sang The Frames’ Falling Slowly (Coach’s Choice) and Taylor Swift’s Blank Space (Viewer’s Choice).
