A new report reveals that the main character in the upcoming episode of Criminal Minds will be played by Dawson's Creek alum Avery Clyde.

The Latin Post reported that Clyde will be playing the titular role, in the episode, Amelia Porter.

This episode of Criminal Minds has been delayed by a week. Fans will have to wait for another seven days, as the episode, which would have orginally aired on December 3, will now air on December 10 because CBS aired two hours of Survivor on the third.

Here is the synopsis for the episode:

"When the BAU is called to Salt Lake City Utah to investigate a triple homicide, the search for a connection among the victims could lead them to a fugitive who could have ties to the UnSub."

A recent report also revealed that JJ's (AJ Cook) post-traumatic stress disorder from her abduction from a year ago will act up in episode 11 of Criminal Minds.

TVGuide revealed this but of information, courtesy the CBS procedural's executive producer Erica Messer. The producer stated that while the haunting won't necessarily cause trouble in the work area it will resurface in other ways as "it's coming out in unexpected ways. She's kind of internalizing it."

Meanwhile, the synopsis for the winter finale of season 10 of Criminal Minds was recently revealed.
