Jenelle Evans' 23rd birthday is coming up on Dec. 19 and the Teen Mom 2 star has some big plans all set to go.

On Monday the reality star boasted on Twitter that she will be "partyin" for her birthday, which is a little over a week away.

Followers and critics immediately voiced concern over whether the mother of two and former addict should be broadcasting such a broad claim.

The backlash over such a statement could hurt Evans' chance at regaining custody over her five-year-old son Kaiser, who has lived with her mother, Barbara, since infancy.

Last month critics questioned a photograph Evans' posted of five-month-old Kaiser, who appeared to have a black eye. The incident resulted in a visit from Child Protective Services and while Evans was cleared of any wrongdoing, the star might not want to risk that kind of negative attention if she wants to get Jace back anytime soon.

Over the last year Evans has made incredible progress in getting herself back in school and worked hard to make herself a suitable guardian. While she has expressed interest in fighting for custody, she is also worried about the impact it would have on her mother and has decided to take things slow for the time being.

Teen Mom 2 returns on MTV for a sixth season in 2015.
