Hart of Dixie star Jaime King and her son were spotted out and about having a play date with one of her closest celebrity gal pals, actress Jessica Alba, and her children.

The two famous ladies enjoyed a day at Beverly Hills' Goldwater Canyon Park Sunday. King sported a casual and cute look with a black oversized turtle neck sweater with grey and yellow trimming, skinny jeans and low black booties.
Alba, who is the godmother of King's one-year-old son James Knight Newman, sported a similar look with skinny jeans, a plaid shirt, burgundy sneakers and a large grey cardigan. Her look was completed with a grey bag. She also carried a cup of coffee as King held Newman in tow.

King recently dished on what made her name Alba to be the godmother to her only child.
"She is such an incredible parent and I chose her because she really showed me what it was like to be a great mom and a great working mom," she told Momtastic.
"It was really just watching her over the years, the balance that she creates. She had kids before anyone in our group of friends and I thought after having a baby, how much courage that takes and how much information you need to know..."
King added that it didn't hurt that Alba's Honest business that aims to assist not only children but the planet, played a factor in her decision.
"It's just great knowing I have someone that is like a sister that did so much for women and families."
