The 100's "Long Into the Abyss" isn't the series' midseason finale, but the events that unfold within it will rock the storyline nonetheless.

Actor Ricky Whittle (Lincoln) previewed the episode, dishing out an enticing appetizer full of Lincoln, Octavia (Marie Averopoulos), and action.

"There's going to be a lot of information in this episode," Whittle explained, according to Zap2It. "The fans are going to learn a lot and it will change the season moving forward. Things will definitely change after this episode, it will never be the same."

Unfortunately, Whittle was careful not to spill the beans regarding his character's ultimate fate. Now a Reaper, Lincoln is a cannibalistic killing machine with seemingly no hope for redemption. Despite this, Bellamy and Octavia are unwilling to give up on the Grounder.

"We haven't seen a lot of Lincoln [this season], but this episode is full of Lincoln," Whittle teased. "It's very dramatic. It's got everything -- a lot of action, a real emotional roller coaster. You're going to be scared, you're going to be nervous, it's intense, you're going to be on the edge of your seat and then it's going to be really sad. I will guarantee tears. It's going to be very emotional. This is my favorite episode."
