Since their fall finale aired last week, various members of the cast have not only posted emotional tributes to their drama series about the lives of sick kids in an L.A. hospital on their social media pages, but several have also started encouraging fans in a #SaveRedBandSociety movement on Twitter.
Leading the pack of those trying to save the show with a social media movement has been Wilson Cruz, who portrays Nurse Kenji on the show.

One of the more emotional tributes however came from Octavia Spencer (Nurse Jackson), who reminded fans of the real kids in situations similar to the ones experienced by the ones on the show.
"2 the real Redbanders out there in & out of hospitals every wk stay strong & know that you're an inspiration In our final week we think of u," she wrote.
The final three episodes of the show's first season are expected to air at some point, though FOX has not announced when they will. The network is currently holding off on a decision concerning a potential second season as well.
For now, those who want to participate in the movement to save the show can tweet using the #SaveRedBandSociety, or sign a petition on change.org.
