It seems like the Golden Globes were just here yesterday and we were seeing Matthew McConaughey's famous "Alright, alright, alright" speeches for the first time-but that is officially behind us, as the nominations for next year's ceremony have officially be announced.

This year's top contenders are a varied bunch, and while several newer TV shows managed to score nominations this year (Jane The Virgin and How To Get Away With Murder), The top nominees for TV were Fargo (with five nominations), and True Detective (with four). In the movie categories, Birdman flew away from the competition with a whopping seven nods, followed closely behind by Boyhood, Gone Girl and The Imitation Game with five each.

The awards are handed out each year by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in a televised ceremony in January. The 72nd annual ceremony will be hosted for the third and final time by comedy duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The awards will air on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. See the full list of nominees below.
