Two of the executive producers on Fox's Bones have revealed some details about the 200th episode going into Thursday night.

Bones EPs Stephen Nathan and Hart Hanson spoke with TVLine recently about Thursday night's episode, titled The 200th in the 10th. The episode is set to be an homage to legendary suspense film director Alfred Hitchcock.

Emotionally, though, it almost works as an origin story for Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz), according to Nathan.

"It really is examining Booth and Brennan and the beginnings of their relationship in another situation," he explained. "Everything is the same. It's sort of an origin story. It is the start of the science of forensic anthropology in a bizarre and interesting way. It is seeing them meet the first time again and seeing that relationship begin again."

As Hanson observed, this is actually the fourth time viewers are seeing Brennan and Booth "meet" each other.

"That's right," Nathan added. "Their jobs might be different, but their characters are the same to a large extent. Some [other characters] I can't really talk about because I'll give away the ending. And we did want this to be not just doing a sketch like Saturday Night Live. It's a mystery. We're watching basically a Hitchcock mystery.

Hanson teased that are a few "gifts" for the audience as well. The alternate reality episode features Brennan as an LAPD officer who hunts down Booth, who is a jewel thief in this scenario. Hijinks are bound to ensue!

Bones airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
