‘The Voice’ Season 7 Contestants: Damien Reveals Adam Levine Is ‘The Best Coach,’ Talks About His Experience On The Show Thus Far [VIDEO]
On Wednesday, it was revealed on TODAY that Damien won the wildcard spot in the final four of The Voice.

On Thursday, The Voice's YouTube Channel uploaded a video of him reflecting on his journey while being part of the Top 5 and then later reveals his reaction to winning the wildcard votes.
Damien stated, "My experience has been an incredible journey."

He pointed out that he has gone through "a transformation" since he went through "a healing process." He said from the moment he burst into tears during his Blind Audition that his healing process began once he was finally told "yes."
He then went on to talk about his coach, Adam Levine. He said, "Adam I think is the best coach. He was the best coach for me. I have really grown to love him as a friend. He's a friend."
He said the best advice Levine has given him is to "dissect the song. Learn the song as it is." He shared his first time of doing that was with the Battle round song. He revealed, "That was not something I was used to, but in order to deliver the song I had to study it. I had to study the song and learn the song."
He also revealed his favorite moment so far on stage, which happens to be when he slayed Adele's Someone Like You. He said, "I felt like that was the first time America got to actually see exactly what kind of artist I wanted to be." He charted in the seventh position on the iTunes Top 200 Singles chart with his rendition of that song.
