'House of Cards' Season 3 News: Netflix Series Picks Up Three Golden Globes Nominations [VIDEO]
The list of Golden Globe nominees is finally out and House of Cards is in the race for some crucial wins.

The Netflix political drama has been nominated in three important categories which include, best actor in a drama, best actress in a drama, and best drama.
On December 12, showrunner Beau Willimon congratulated his team on the nominations via Twitter:
"So proud of @KevinSpacey @RealRobinWright & the whole @HouseofCards team for the 3 @GoldenGlobes noms! @netflix"
These nominations come on the heels of the SAG nominee announcements in which House of Cards leads the pack.
Entertainment Weekly assessed that the Netflix political drama and the ABC comedy have taken away the greates number of nominations. House of Cards has three nominations in top categories:
- Kevin Spacey for playing Frank Underwood in an Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series
- Robin Wright for playing Claire Underwood in an Outstanding Performacne by a Female Actor in a Drama Series
- Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series
The third season of House of Cards is currently filming in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
