Robert Pattinson Stumbles Over Kristen Stewart Question on 'Good Morning America'
Robert Pattinson tried his best to field what "Good Morning America" anchorGeorge Stephanopoulos dubbed the "elephant in the room."The world has been buzzing about Pattinson ever since Kristen Stewart was caught having an affair with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders on July 17.
Stephanopoulos presented Pattinson with a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, the star's favorite cereal.
According to US Weekly, Stephanopoulous then asked the "Cosmopolis" star: "Everybody just wants to know: how are you doing? What do you want your fans to know about what's going on in your personal life?"
Pattinson appeared to be uncomfortable and stammered through his response. "[My fans] seem pretty excited about . . .kind of whatever. Um, I'd like my fans to know that Cinnamon Toast Crunch is just 130 calories [a serving!]. Pretty much everything that comes out of my mouth is irrelevant."
When asked how he handles the media questioning his private life, Pattinson responded with: "You go into it to do movies. I've never been interested in trying to sell my personal life. The reason why you go onto TV is to promote movies."

Is Pattinson immune to all the pandemonium yet? The short answer: no. "If you start getting used to it, then you become crazy. But, uh, it's nice. It's like being on the craziest theme park ride," he said. "Totally exciting, but eventually, at some point, you've got to have a break."
Stephanopoulos reassured Pattinson and said, ""You seem to be doing okay."
"Yeah," responded Pattinson quietly.
Wednesday's "Good Morning America" interview came only two days after Pattinson and John Stewart downed some Ben & Jerry's ice cream on "The Daily Show" while Pattinson did his best to avoid the inevitable Stewart question.
"Are you all right?" the television host asked. "Is everything OK? I'm worried about you, and you're all right?"
"I'm going to sound like an idiot, but my biggest problem in my life is I'm cheap, and I didn't hire a publicist," Pattinson said. "And in every awkward interview, normally, actors get these things scripted. I'm going to hire a publicist."
