As the NCIS agent and the LAPD detective continue exploring their burgeoning relationship, they have one thing working in their favor - they don't have to lie to each other about their profession.
Unfortunately for Callen (Chris O'Donnell), he doesn't have this advantage. As far as Jolene knows, G is a securities trader. This level of secrecy surrounding his life seems to make it a little difficult for Jolene to find him a proper Christmas present, but Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will soon step in to solve that problem (see video below).
Will Densi Kiss In 'Humbug'? Shane Brennan Dishes On 'NCIS: LA' Christmas Episode
Meanwhile, the "Humbug" clip seems to have a bit of Densi subtext going on in the background. Deeks and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) spent last Christmas apart, but this year it sounds like the partners might choose to exchange gifts. It remains to be seen if they know each other well enough to move past the "safe" gift.
Kensi seems to think the "safe" gift is a perfectly acceptable option - after all, it's the thought that counts - but Deeks appears to think a present should be a little more personal.
The gift-giving drama combined with a potential Densi kiss will make "Humbug" a can't miss episode for Densi 'shippers.
