Adams has confirmed that despite the presence of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), there will be no love triangle storyline between them in Batman v Superman.
"They always think that if you put in another woman, automatically...'catfight!'" Adams observed with ComingSoon.net. "No, I think that's a male fantasy thing. I don't think that's reality. I don't know how it will turn out, if we're going to be competition, but we are not in this [movie], I can safely say, and we're not in real life. She's just the coolest girl ever."

Meanwhile, she explained to Collider how she contributes to the film in the midst of all the other characters in Batman v Superman.
"Lois is still sort of like the key to the information, you know?" she said. "She's the girl going out and getting it and figuring it out and putting it together and all of that, so she's very much involved, but I kind of leave the heavy lifting to the boys, you know? So to speak."
It is not known how big of a role Adams will have in Batman v Superman but it may be hard to get screen time when there's Superman, Batman (Ben Affleck), Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and more in the mix.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on March 25, 2016.
