'American Horror Story' Season 4 Cast: Why Neil Patrick Harris Had To 'Shower' After Filming 'Freak Show' Scenes [VIDEO]
With Neil Patrick Harris slated to guest star on FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show, the beloved actor admitted that he needed a shower after he was done filming.
Harris is guest starring in episodes 11 and 12 of American Horror Story: Freak Show and while he probably had a good time, he quipped that it got pretty scary.
"Just finished filming my last scene for American Horror Story," he tweeted. "I need to take a shower. Wash off all this horror."

Harris is set to play a "chameleon salesman" in the final two episodes of Freak Show. His role might have something to do with magic, based on comments made by American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy.
"Yeah I spoke to Neil last week. He sort of had an idea of what he wanted to do, and I had an idea that he liked," Murphy told Entertainment Weekly in October. "So I'm going to call him next week. If I can make it work, it will be something that shoots at the end. He's very interested in the show and obviously Neil is a magician and likes all that magic stuff. So he's fascinated with that. We're trying to make it work. I'm optimistic."
Harris' husband David Burtka will also be appearing in AHS: Freak Show but he will only be featured in the season finale.
American Horror Story: Freak Show airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
