Well, he has a key, a literal one. Captain Kirk will drop by the Syfy series for four episodes in 2015, and fans can get a first look at Shatner in the promo below.
The nature of Shatner's role and his character's identity are still tightly under wraps, but it looks like the Star Trek legend will feature near the end of the 26-episode season.
"Sir @WilliamShatner will be on the #Haven5 set tomorrow... we're slightly SLIGHTLY excited out of our minds!" tweeted official Haven account on Dec. 8. As of the beginning of December, the series only had a few more episodes to film before wrapping season 5.
The Shat took viewers behind the scenes after his arrival, posting a photo with actress Emily Rose (see photo above).
Haven closed out season 5A with Audrey (Rose) and Nathan (Lucas Bryant) in an interesting position. For once, the cop and the savior were both okay. Unfortunately, the couples' bad luck seems to have moved on to Duke (Eric Balfour). As a virtual Trouble bomb, the former smuggler is in bad shape.
