One of White Collar's most symbiotic pairs is on the outs. With only one episode left until USA says goodbye to the con series for good, will Neal Caffrey and Mozzie be able to repair their relationship?
Neal (Matt Bomer) is keeping a secret from his closest confidant, and its safe to say that Mozzie (Willie Garson) is not at all pleased. Now that Neal's future and their friendship are on the line, Garson decided to pay homage to the criminal partnership in a new behind-the-scenes featurette.
"It's an interesting relationship between Neal and Mozzie," Garson explained. "The chemistry between them comes from, basically, the old adage that opposites attract. Mozzie handles a lot of the dirty work, and Neal is the frontman. I think Neal looks up to Mozzie's brain, and Mozzie looks up to how Neal can carry himself through society."
'White Collar' Finale To End With Cliffhanger; What Does This Mean For Fans?
Whichever way Neal and Mozzie go following "Au Revoir," fans can be assured of one thing - viewers will definitely find out why Neal is keeping some info to himself.
"The reason for that strain will be obvious once you get to the finale," teased series creator Jeff Eastin, according to TV Line.
