Jeb Bush News 2016: Brother & Son To Former Leaders Exploring 'Possibility' Of Running, Threat To Hillary Clinton? [VIDEO]
Should the United States of America be expecting another Bush in the White House in 2016?
Jeb Bush, former governor of Florida, announced Tuesday that he is considering running for President of the United States. Bush announced this in a holiday note posted on his Facebook page.
He wrote that he and his family talked about "the future of our nation" and "as a result of these conversations and thoughtful consideration of the kind of strong leadership I think America needs, I have decided to actively explore the possibility of running for President of the United States."
He elaborated that he intended to create a Leadership PAC to get in touch with citizens and see what the most "critical challenges facing our exceptional nation."
Bush noted: "The PAC's purpose will be to support leaders, ideas and policies that will expand opportunity and prosperity for all Americans."
He concluded that he is hoping to have conversation in the next few months about how to restore "the promise of America."
The 61-year-old former governor is the brother of President George W. Bush and the son of President George H. W. Bush. Assuming he were to attain the title of President, a member of the Bush family would be in charge for three of the last five presidencies.
Assuming he does run, he would likely receive heat from another name familiar to the presidency: Clinton. Hillary Clinton, that is. The former first lady is rumored to be launching a 2016 campaign after losing the Democratic primary to current President Barack Obama in 2008.
