Reality TV actress Evelyn Lozada and her NFL player husband Chad Johnson are getting divorced following a widely reported domestic violence incident on Saturday.

Overall, their marriage lasted shorter than Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries 72-days marriage. The scandal forced VH1 to pull the series "Ev and Ocho" from its scheduled debut in early September and has no current plans of airing it.

The dispute had allegedly started over a receipt for a condoms purchase found by the "Basketball Wives" star.

Johnson, 34, was released from jail on Sunday after being charged with a battery misdemeanor. His bond was set at $2,500. Following his release, he was cut from the Miami Dolphins football team.
