'The Mentalist' Season 7 Spoilers: Who Will Blackmail Agent Abbott? The DEA & FBI Collide in 'Green Light' [VIDEO]
Someone is making life unpleasantly difficult for The Mentalist's Agent Abbott.
The FBI Supervisory Special Agent will come in contact with his old DEA boss during "Green Light," and the pair won't share the warmest of welcomes. Instead, Special Agent Bill Peterson (Dylan Baker) will threaten to dredge up Abbott's (Rockmond Dunbar) past mistakes when the FBI realizes the DEA botched their current case.
"There's a lot of character development with Abbott," Tunney explained to Enstars. "His character gets really fleshed out. He's sort of involved in a pretty big scandal. It's a really big arc and we get to know who he is and his life and what his family's life is like."

As Peterson drags Abbott's skeletons from his closet, the FBI agent won't be the only one to suffer. Abbott's wife, Lena (Christina Adams) will soon apply to a prestigious job in DC. Unfortunately for Mrs. Abbott, her husband's transgressions could cost her the job.
Set to air as episode 6 of season 7, "Green Light" was penned by Alex Berger.
